I contacted Julie after being diagnosed with celiac disease, I must admit I was quite at a low point with my weight loss and lack of energy. Having my life evolved around fitness it was a complete drain mentally and physically of what I couldn’t do anymore. I have done challenging things in my life but literally this diagnosis put a hand break turn in my lifestyle. I was deflated.
I had a one to one open chat with Julie, lifestyle eating habits and drinking no holds barred.
Julie then done me a specific carbohydrate diet…
We were both committed 💯 my wife was awesome in taking on board the next 12 week commitment, quite a challenge for us with supplements, total food change smoothies, food that I have never eaten.
Six weeks in nothing was changing my weight dropped to 10st 7 feeling awful no energy probably at my lowest point to be blunt what ever I ate went straight through within 10 mins I had no energy for my physical job training and feeling tired and feeling crap. I think at this stage Julie was a bit concerned she was golden bless her.
Looking back at the last 12 weeks I made the mistake of still trying to train , swimming, biking and work wise physically grafting at least covering 20,000 plus steps a day. It was to much for the calorific deficit.
I hit a wall.
12 weeks in and oh my goodness what a difference 🤩 feeling stronger swimming every day and my guts have never felt so good. It’s like a switch has been flicked. I am now eating gluten free but with no symptoms how fantastic
I can’t thank and recommend Julie so much she has made our family Christmas .
Thank you Julie for your compassion, knowledge and for genuinely being a nice person.
Feel free to share Julie I hope it helps someone else that can benefit from your knowledge x DL
